I know all of my updates are short and not long and flowery. But. I am delighted to be able to inform you that I am happy and that I have direction kind of and lots of things are happening. I am also buying two tickets to the Ani Difranco show at the santa barbara arlington theatre, in the hopes that I will find someone to go with me. Thids will be the first valentines day I will not be sitting at home. Hurray!

you are awesome. i would like to call you, but it would probably be weird, yes? plus my long distance bills are all over the place as it is. but if it is not too weird, then whatevah.
so you are in santa barbara? my good friend lives there. i don't know what part exactly, but she is having a good time.
in other non-sunny news, we had a blizzard!!! it was fantastical, except that we might have snow tomorrow. i hate snow on saturdays. i haven't been outside in two days. oh well. more hot chocolate and grilled cheese for me!

I received your letter in the mail today. It made my whole day so much brighter. We ought to write to each other more often. Letters are always much more manageable than packages (speaking of which, I really am going to mail this thing eventually--it's been sitting on the floor in my apartment since October or some such).
